The objective of the “INCOTERMS” is to establish a set of International rules for the interpretation of the terms used in foreign trade operations. Frequently, parties of a contract to ignore the differences in business practices in their respective countries. These can rise to misunderstandings, disputes and litigations and all the wasted time and money that they may cause. In order to solve these issues, the International Chamber of Commerce published international rules for interpretation of trade terms known as “INCOTERMS”.
